do you have what it takes to be a conrad?
The year is 1972, the mission is Apollo 16 and the astronaut is Charlie Duke.
When he landed on the Moon on April 21 of that year, Duke became a member of the most elite fraternity the world has ever known:the moonwalkers. To this day, he remains one of only 12 human beings who have walked on the surface of a celestial body other than planet Earth.
Before he departed from the moon for good, Duke left Luna something to remember him by. A family photo of himself, his smiling wife and his two young sons. A moment captured in time for all of eternity. A compelling sign of humanity’s presence on an otherwise lifeless world.
Although enclosed in protective plastic, the photo has long since been bleached white under the harsh glare of an unforgiving sun.
Even so, 42 years later, this photo still lies exactly where Duke left it.
And we have yet to return to the moon…

This photo never fails to make me laugh, as Frank must be the only person in the world who can look scary while saying grace.
LOOK AT HIS EYEBROWS OMG
I CAN’T LIE FRANK IS A CUTIE BUT HE JUST IS SO INTENSE AND SCARY AND I FEEL LIKE HE’D LIGHT ME ON FIRE.
Basically. Frank will fuck people up so bad they won’t know about it
